Since it seems to be the week for returns (wrestling gag) I thought this was the ideal time to make my triumphant return to the blogosphere.

Right, quick update since I’ve been away a wee while. Everything is pretty much the same. Well except for the fact I’m shaving my hair for charity. So far (with 9 days to go) I’ve raised over £100 in sponsorship so I’m really pleased but at the same time, I really wish I hadn’t opened my mouth. I’m dreading what I’m going to look like with no hair as it’s been about 8 years since I was bald last time. In fact, since this is my blog I’m going to tell you a story about one of my previous bald escapades.

When I was living in Spain, my hair had gotten a bit shaggy and I decided it was time for a haircut. Unfortunately  I didn’t, and to be totally honest still don’t, really know much spanish so the phrase ‘two back and sides and a bit off the top’ (my standard hairstyle) was a bit much for my tourist mind to figure out. Undeterred by this set back I took matters into my own ands by buying a few packs of disposable razors and decided I was going to shave it off. After a few hours, a whole host of small cuts and a fair bit of blood lost I was freshly shorn. Theres maybe a picture of me from that night somewhere and if I find it I’ll let you all see it.

Away from my tales of follicular follies theres not been a whole lot happening in my world recently.  Theres been a few massive developments in the football, which I’m going to write about in the next few days so will just skirt around now, I’ve done a bit more drinking and a fair bit more trolling.

For those who don’t know, I like winding people up. I’ll hold my hands up right now and admit it. I’m not great at pranks, I’m even worse at setting people up for funny scenarios but I’m adept at getting a reaction out of people by picking obscure points in conversation and heavily focusing on it. As it turns out I’m also pretty quick witted, which really helps sometimes when you’re not the most confident chap in the world.

Some of the trolling recently has led to some people getting really hot under the collar and unleashing verbal tirades that could probably see them arrested under the new ‘Offensive Behaviour and Threatening Communications Act’. I’m not going to take the moral high ground and report it, I’m not going to get someone into serious bother because I wound them up over the internet but some people really need to chill out a bit.
